Heaven Sent is a unique Christian book and gift shop, in operation since 1998 and located in St. Paul, Alberta. We opened for business “on a wing and a prayer” in a small 650 square foot space. In 2000, we moved to our present 1600 square foot location on main street. Over the years we have encountered major economic situations such as the BSE crisis, drought, high energy costs and a depressed economy. God is good. With prayer, perseverance and the loyalty of our customers, we continue in the work God asks of us.

What makes Heaven Sent so special is the small-town, friendly atmosphere you will notice when you enter the store. Customers have told us they feel a sense of peace and hope at Heaven Sent. One of our most often heard quotes is “Heaven Sent is my favorite store,” a quote spoken by many regular shoppers.

It is a priority and a privilege to cater to multiple denominations and you will find that Heaven Sent has an ecumenical flavor by providing for the spiritual needs of many Christians.

We are well known as the best place to shop for a new baby, Our selection of  Baptism and Christening gifts, as well as  keepsakes and cards for the sacraments of First Communion and Confirmation are  extensive and available year round. We can also provide parishes with sacramental preparation workbooks for the children who will receive these sacraments.

You will find a variety of gift items to commemorate weddings, anniversaries, birthdays, mother’s/father’s day etc., from mugs with a message, picture frames, wall decor, afghans, etc. In many instances, our gift ware is of an inspirational nature more than a religious one, making us a very versatile choice for shopping.

Our section for children is very popular and quite extensive. It includes but is not limited to: activity books, bible stories, early reader books, and chapter books. Our Christmas and Easter books have the "real message" incorporated into fascinating stories. Our DVD selection includes such titles as the VeggieTales series, Praise Baby Collection, Sugar Creek Gang, Focus on the Family, and many more, including the new What's In the Bible Series from the creators of Veggie Tales.

Bibles for all ages in a variety of translations make up a large portion of our sales. Bible cases, commentaries and concordances are also available.

All of our greeting cards include some scripture giving them just the right touch for any occasion.
